It’s not by chance that the Speed Skating Center is called a city inside the city. Here all the conditions for fruitful training, setting up records, rehabilitation and sanitation of sportsmen are created. The perfectly equipped medical halls together with attentive qualified personnel is the token of sportsmen’s health and good disposition.
In accordance with the international recommendations of the International Skating Union the sports objects of such a level are to be equipped not only for training, but also for rehabilitation. Besides, during the competitions the work of doping-control laboratories is to be organized near the ice arena and everything necessary for the work of the field laboratory is to be ready. The Moscow Region Speed Skating Center «Kolomna» undoubtedly satisfies all these requirements.
Medical-rehabilitation center of the Speed Skating Center is meant to cure and help recover without pharmacology. For this reason the halls of remedial gymnastics, physical treatment, massage, electro-light treatment and manual therapy were equipped.
As the practice shows, coaches and sportsmen like the idea of permanent medical co-operation. Therefore the staff of the medical-rehabilitation center keeps individual medical cards for each sportsmen and follow his or her condition during every training in Kolomna.
